Greetings from the President

On behalf of the 150-plus members of the North Manhattan Alumnae Chapter (NMAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., I bring to you—my sorors and friends—warm greetings!

We invite you peruse our website and see not only the many wonderful things we do in the community we serve but also our global outreach, which has made us an award-winning chapter.

Our chapter’s committees work tirelessly to deliver educational yet exciting programs tailored to meet the needs of the Upper Manhattan community we serve. Among our annual initiatives are: our “Medical Trailblazer” event, a seminar that features lectures from healthcare professionals and honors legendary and up-and-coming individuals within the field of medicine; our “Health Symposium,” an event that NMAC partners with the brothers of the Psi Lambda Lambda Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., where we feature various health and wellness experts; a series of economic development workshops on topics ranging from home ownership to entrepreneurship; “May Week,” an event that showcases the artistic talent of the youth within our service area; and “Red Reelz,” a film competition comprised of submissions from high school students who have produced and directed short films. The chapter’s signature fundraising event, the “Annual Scholarship Dinner Dance,” is the culmination of NMAC’s fundraising efforts for the year.

Please be sure to keep abreast of our upcoming programs and events and continue to follow our work in the community. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to you visiting us again!

Sisterly yours,

Robin H. Williams
