Project ACE

Project ACE was formulated in the eastern region to serve as a tool for Sorors who have recently graduated college. In 1996, under the tenure of past Eastern Regional Director Wendy J. Johnson and Charlene Gairey, Project Ace was born. The program was officially implemented in 1997. The goal of Project ACE is to build a bridge to support sorors in the transition from undergraduate to alumnae membership. Through this work, collegiate and alumnae sorors are able to network and fellowship via participation in sisterhood activities. Today, many alumnae chapters in the eastern region—including NMAC—utilize Project ACE as an avenue to collaborate on national initiatives, as well as provide mentorship to younger sorors.
